The Jimtown Store is closing and with it go one of the best pulled pork sandwiches in the Bay Area. Open for more than 100 years the Store has finally been done in by the wildfires and the rising cost of doing business. You can read the sad story
here. Here’s your last chance to get their delicious lunch before the ax falls. This ride happens to be one of the oldest club rides, the Healdsburg Wineries Loop, and takes in major portions of the Wine Country Century because, well, it’s beautiful. It’s also only mildly rolling making it a hero ride for everyone. From downtown Healdsburg we head south to pick up Eastside and then Westside Road over to Dry Creek. We then cut east to Jimtown for lunch—be prepared for food awesomeness—and it’s a mere six miles from there back to Healdsburg for easy digestion.
Oh wait! But that’s not all: back in Healdsburg we’ll visit
Noble Folk Ice Cream and Pie Bar just to top off that lunch appropriately!
Meet at the Downtown Bakery and Creamery right on the Plaza. There is public parking in front of the Plaza across Healdsburg Avenue and also on W. North and Grove Streets. Note that the Jimtown Store also offers vegan and vegetarian dishes. For carpooling coordination contact ride leader.
