Terrain: 3 (moderate hills with some challenges)
Elevation gain: 1,500 ft.
This is an experimental ride: Tiburon loop but starting in Point Richmond rather than San Francisco. We'll take the Richmond-San Rafael (RSR) Bridge over to Marin and then make our way to Paradise Drive and Tiburon with a stop at Woodlands Market before heading back via Corte Madera and Larkspur and returning over the RSR Bridge. Unlike the Golden Gate Bridge, the RSR is not crowded.
Please check the weather beforehand and dress accordingly. Bring snacks and water.
Meet at: 9:45 am.
Roll out at 10 am. SHARP!
Location: Little Louie's, 49 Washington Avenue, Richmond, CA 94801.
(If you want coffee or a quick bite before the ride, enter Little Louie's from the back off of Railroad Avenue. They have a back patio where you can bring your bike. But we're leaving at 10 SHARP!)
If coming by BART, please note that the train arrives at Richmond BART at 8:54 and 9:24 am. The latter barely gives you enough time to get to Point Richmond. So plan to take the train that arrives at 8:54 am; you'll have time to get a coffee and pastry at Little Louie's!
