Come enjoy the fall weather and our annual Fall Social hosted by Phil Bokovoy at his home in Berkeley.
As usual there will be two ride options before the Social: a longer ride that begins at 9 am and a shorter ride that begins at 9:30 am. The longer ride is the venerable Three Bears loop and the shorter, easier ride is out to the Rosie the Riveter National Historical Park. See the individual listings below for more details.
After the rides (1:30-2:00 pm) Phil will serve his awesome BBQ turkey (veggie burger options as well.) The Club will provide drinks. Come for one of the rides only, come for the Social only, or come for BOTH!
If you come to the Social, please bring an appetizer, side dish, or dessert to share; suggested choice by last name:
A-H -- side dish
I-Q -- dessert
R-Z -- appetizer
You may freshen up after the ride by taking a shower at Phil's but please bring your own towel.
Please register for the Fall Social no later then 8 pm, Friday, Oct 18. Also if you plan to join one of the rides before the Social, please register separately for the rides, which are listed below.
(Note: if you register for just the Fall Social, you will still be asked the same two questions as if you were planning to attend one of the rides. It's just how our software works.)
NOTE: 9/6/24. BART moved a scheduled system shutdown from 9/21-22 to 10/19-20. This is the same weekend as the Fall Social. There will be no train service at 19th St., Macarthur, and Rockridge for the entire weekend. BART will provide bus bridge service in lieu of trains.
