Tour d'Equator NYE 2024

About this event

Distance: 50 mi. (gravel: 34.7 mi.)
Pace: B (moderate)
Terrain: 4 (some steep climbs with some relief)
Elevation gain: 4,789 ft. (gravel: 4,329 ft.)

Equator Coffee has long been very supportive of cyclists in the Bay Area and especially in Marin County. They are sponsoring a ride to the top of Mount Tam, with both a road and a gravel option.

To ride this ride, you must register with Equator; click here to register. Your registration with Equator will entitle you to the free food at the end. But we also ask that you register here for DSSF just so we know who is coming from the club.

Here's what Equator says about the ride:

Let's close out the year with a New Year's Eve day ride! We'll start at Equator Coffees at Round House cafe (San Francisco side of the Golden Gate Bridge) and head across the bridge into Mill Valley. Then, we'll ride to the top of Mt. Tam where we will share a celebratory toast, and finish at Equator Sausalito.

Register now to reserve your spot for (free!) paninis and drinks at Equator Sausalito at the end of the ride. We're proud to offer this event at no-cost to our community. For those who are able, we've included an optional donation component upon check-out that will go to support the critical work of the Bay Area Ridge Trail.

Schedule:
8:30AM: Meet at Equator Round House (Golden Gate Brg, San Francisco, CA 94129) for coffee and pastries
