Join Roger and Tony on two classic Midpeninsula rides-in-one: Cañada Road on "Bicycle Sunday" and the Portola Loop. Cañada Road is closed to cars on Bicycle Sundays. The ride starts at the parking area at State Hwy 92 and Cañada Road in San Mateo. We roll south through Woodside and Portola Valley with a stop at the Arastradero Preserve before heading into the hills of Los Altos. We return on Foothill Blvd. and Sand Hill to Woodside for lunch at
Roberts Market. After lunch it's an easy stroll up Cañada Road to the start.
This is a rolling route with hills none of them sustained or hard.
Bring a snack and water as lunch comes towards the end of the ride.
Meet at 9:45 AM with a 10 AM departure.
Rain cancels or if uncertain, contact the ride leaders.
