Annual Club Picnic

This year our annual picnic is at a new, new, new location: Tunnel Tops in the San Francisco Presidio! Tunnel Tops is the newest facility in the Presidio constructed on top of the Presidio Parkway tunnels. It’s directly across from Crissy Field Marsh and has a broad, scenic vista of the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. (Do not confuse this with Tunnel Top Park near Potrero Hill.)
Our picnic site has two large picnic tables and a charcoal grill.
Please bring something to grill as well as a potluck dish to share.
The club will supply soft drinks, plates, and utensils.
If your last name begins with:
A through I -- bring a snack or appetizer;
J through R -- bring a dessert;
S through Z -- bring a side dish.
We will need volunteers to help set up the picnic area, prepare food and grilling, and clean up. To volunteer contact

Location: Presidio Trust Picnic Place, Tables 1 & 2, Tunnel Tops in the San Francisco Presidio
If you’re driving to Tunnel Tops there is paid parking in the large lot at 201 Halleck Street as well as at the Presidio Visitor Center. SF Muni bus 43 stops at the Presidio Transit Center, which is adjacent to Tunnel Tops. If you cycle to Tunnel Tops, there is a bike rack in the picnic area; bring a good lock.
