Here's a different "Pescadero loop". This one is a step above the usual loop we do. Starting at the Pescadero Middle/High School we head south on Cloverdale instead of north. This takes us to Gazos Creek and then north on Highway One, where we're sure to get a headwind. But we turn off on Bean Hollow Road for a short, steep climb back to Pescadero. We continue north on Stage Road but instead of going all the way past San Gregorio, we will head east on La Honda Road. This gives us a nice break from the climbing and headwind before we have to crawl up Haskins Hill for a very rewarding descent back to Pescadero. But just five miles from the end we'll stop at the Loma Mar Store for lunch! Then it's five miles mostly downhill back to the start.
Meet at 9:15 AM with a 9:30 roll out.
