Terrain: 3 (moderate hills with some challenges)
Estimated elevation gain: 2,400 ft.

Meet up at 9:30 AM for a 9:45 AM departure.

You can find a map for the route here. Please load the route to your GPS if you have one. If you don't, please print the cue sheet, which is available at this link.

We start in Pescadero and head north on Stage Road until it hits Highway One, and then take it south to Gazos Creek Road, and then back on Cloverdale to our start at Pescadero High School. But we’re also going to ride up Pescadero Creek Road to the Loma Mar Store just five miles away to get a delicious lunch before turning around and heading back to the high school. You can end your ride at the high school and head home or drive up to the Loma Mar and have lunch with the group. Talk about having your cake and eating it too!

This is the fifth ride in our All Around the Bay Area: Winter/Spring 2025 Ride Series to help people gear up for late spring and summer riding, including the Wine Country Century, AIDS/LifeCycle, or your first metric or century of the year or ever! We'll have longer and more difficult rides as the series progresses. We'll ride routes all over the Bay Area. Most routes will be without a whole lot of stop signs and lights. We'll try not to ride in the rain, and there won't be a safety speech.

And don’t forget to drop by Norm's Market in Pescadero afterwards to get some artichoke bread to take home!

You can find a RidewithGPS map and cue sheet for the route here.

Bring water and a snack.

We'll check the weather in the morning and if there's a 30% chance of rain, will cancel and let those who are registered know. So please preregister.

Sweeps? No

Is this a "no rider left behind" ride? No, but we will have a few regroups. We will keep an eye out for each other but if you are a new rider please either know the route or bring a map in case you get dropped from the group.
