Happy Easter! Snarf down your creme eggs and get in the saddle! This ride takes us more than half way up Mt. Tam from central SF, mostly on dirt roads and trails. Instead of turning around at The Pelican Inn as we did on Ride #5, we will continue up Muir Woods Road to the Deer Park Fire Road. Here we will learn why switchbacks were invented. Bring your low gears, glutes and quads. After taking in the views around Pantoll Station, we will descend via the Coastal View trail, which at last ride was quite rutted and technical. But the views! Oh, the views! Once at Muir Beach, we will continue back to SF as on Ride #5.

A bike with fatter tires is recommended for maximum fun, ie. an all-road/gravel/mountain bike with 38mm tires or wider.

Bring snacks and water.

Is this a "no rider left behind" ride? No, but we will have a few regroups. We will keep an eye out for each other but if you are a new rider please either know the route or bring a map in case you get dropped from the group.
