South Bay Blaze (SBB) is a legacy AIDS/LifeCycle team and training group. SBB is a friend and partner of DSSF, and this is an SBB ride and not a DSSF club ride. DSSF is partnering with SBB and publishing this ride in our calendar in hopes of facilitating more riding by more people in more places! See you on the road.

Welcome to the South Bay Blaze Hot Summer Streets Social Rides, a carefully crafted route series designed to build strength, safety, and confidence in preparation of your next big adventure. These summer series rides are a great way for you to train to become ‘road-ready’ and adapt to all weather conditions, including sometimes the hot summer sun. Each week’s route is proven perfect for strength-building and endurance. The rides in this series are posted as "friends riding with friends" without a designated host. All social rides are inclusive and safe spaces welcoming everyone, regardless of skill level or cycling pace. Bring along some snack cash for the route and some lunch money for a lunch stop or at the Country Gourmet across the street once everyone gets back.
