This ride is a series of moderate climbs with just one 10% kicker up Norris Canyon. Starting at Orinda BART we head south to Moraga and take the southern leg of Pinehurst before turning south onto Redwood Road climbing and descending to Castro Valley. From there we head to Crow Canyon Road and climb up and then turn off onto quiet Norris Canyon. One long climb later into ranchland we descend quickly to San Ramon. From there it's an easy roll up Danville Boulevard to Danville for a lunch stop before returning to Orinda.
