Welcome to the Fall Follies! This training ride series is meant to help you get on that bike through the Fall months. The rides are geared towards all riders whether you are experienced or brand new. The Fall Follies rides will be slower paced than our progressive Spring series. As a warm and welcoming group of cyclists, the Marauders hope you come join us each Sunday!

The Route
With 53.2 miles and 2,682 feet of climbing, this route will give you a nice workout! We have done this route before, but we are switching it up this time and doing half of it in reverse! We will leave Hal Brown and head through San Rafael and over to Novato for our first break of the day at the Marin Coffee Roasters at mile 13. Once rested, we will continue through Novato and climb the Stafford Lake Climb. Once at the top we can rest up a spell at the Cheese Factory before descending down the other side! Turning left on Nicasio Valley Road we will cruise for a couple miles before turning onto Lucas Valley Road. Enjoy the scenery as we climb up to Big Rock. After descending we will head over to Northgate Mall for our final rest of the day at Peets Coffee at Northgate Mall. It's simple jaunt back to Hal Brown park after that!

Meeting Place and Parking
Meet at 8:00 a.m. with a ride out of 8:30 am at Hal Brown Park at 250 Bon Air Road in Kentfield. It is nice if you can park across the street from the park so other park patrons have easy access.
Remember the Essentials
Helmet, water bottles, tubes, pump/CO2, sunscreen, butt butter and snacks. Remember to LUBE your chain, PUMP your tires, and RECHARGE your lights, bike computer, and electronic shifters if you have them.
