The Route
AWESOME AHEAD Season 12 Ride #3 - Climbing is Where the Fun Is! One of the greatest reasons to enjoy the South Bay and Peninsula as a cyclist is being able to find those nuggets of outdoor space that you would never find otherwise. We’re excited on Ride #3 to introduce you to just such a spot. From our meetup, we’ll ride up to Stevens Creek Reservoir and into the Picchetti Ranch Open Space Preserve making our first true climb of the season, along the creek and up Mount Eden

Meeting Place and Parking
Meet at 9:15 a.m. with a ride out at 10:00 am at the Starbucks parking lot at 1291 S. Mary Ave at Fremont in Sunnyvale.
Remember the Essentials
Helmet, water bottles, tubes, pump/CO2, sunscreen, butt butter and snacks. Remember to LUBE your chain, PUMP your tires, and RECHARGE your lights, bike computer, and electronic shifters if you have them.
