Ride Description
AWESOME AHEAD Season 13 Ride #7 - Fremont Older Preserve.
We'll head up to Mt Eden for the first time this season (ride# 3 was rained out) along the reservoir - and down into Saratoga (best bakery of the season as well at RS1) - then back down Saratoga to Prospect and up into the Fremont Older Preserve-a beautiful up and back climb and windy descent. We'll do some loop-de-loops through foothill neighborhoods and a quick flat sprint to our lunch stop at Starbucks and the bagel shop-but don't overeat - because right after lunch is the Elena climb. Everyone remembers the first time they conquer Elena (the full Monty) - and we're all better for it.

Meeting Place and Parking
Meet at 8:45 a.m. with a ride out at 9:30 am at the Starbucks parking lot at 1291 S. Mary Ave at Fremont in Sunnyvale.
Remember the Essentials
Helmet, water bottles, tubes, pump/CO2, sunscreen, butt butter and snacks. Remember to LUBE your chain, PUMP your tires, and RECHARGE your lights, bike computer, and electronic shifters if you have them.
