We start at West Oakland BART and end at Richmond BART. From West Oakland BART, we'll ride across the eastern span of the Bay Bridge, back to West Oakland and follow the Bay Trail all the way to Richmond, where we'll use the new bike lane to cross the Richmond-San Rafael bridge, and back again, ending in Richmond. There will be a lunch stop in Richmond, perhaps Little Louie's but that comes near the end. So either bring a lunch or a snack to tide you over. This ride will be all about beautiful views of the SF Bay. The ride may appeal to anyone who, like the ride leader, hasn't ridden either of these two bridge bike paths before.
