Enjoy the MLK Day holiday on a 40-mile lollipop-shaped route from Pinole Park in Pinole to Martinez via Alhambra Valley Road. We'll then climb over Pig Farm, descend and then take Franklin Canyon to Cummings Skyway and then down Crockett Blvd to an optional stop in Crockett Hills Park (restrooms and water). Then it's on to Carquinez Scenic Drive and the George Miller Trail to Martinez where we'll regroup, refuel and coffee-up at the Starbucks plaza. Return via Alhambra Valley. Lots of good hills and rollers.

Time: Meet at 10 am with 10:15 ride out.
Location: Pinole Valley Park. Meet in the parking lot at the corner of Pinole Valley Road and Simas Road.

Not really BART friendly so call the ride leader if you're considering riding from Orinda BART to the start. Co-posted with GPC, as usual with this leader, but those Bears don't bite.
