Here's the ride we are doing BEFORE the Pool Party, a nifty jaunt from Orinda BART to Moraga and up beautiful Pinehurst to Skyline Blvd. Then we head north to Grizzly Peak and drop down to Wildcat, which we take through Tilden Park. We take the "back door" up Old El Toyonal to the Pool Party. See the Pool Party listing for details on the afternoon as well as what food and personal items you should bring. After the Pool Party it's a short ride downhill back to BART.
You do not need to attend the Pool Party to join this ride. However if you also plan to come to the Pool Party, you must register for the Pool Party separately and be sure to do so
NO LATER THAN THURSDAY AUGUST 24—NO EXCEPTIONS.
Meet at Orinda BART outside the fare gates at 9:30 am to drop off your food contribution and your clothing (if you plan to come to the Pool Party) so that you don't have to schlep it on the ride. If you are coming by BART, be sure to check the BART website for the current schedule as well as for any system delays. We plan a 10 am departure.
