Here's a pleasant Sunday ramble through the suburbs of eastern Contra Costa: Orinda, Moraga, Walnut Creek, and Lafayette. Starting at Orinda BART we'll head to Moraga to take the Lafayette-Moraga Regional Trail to Walnut Creek with a short stretch on the Iron Horse Trail. After a pit stop at Livorna Park we'll roll back through the unincorporated area Saranap to Lafayette for lunch at the Lafayette Public House. Afterwards it's a short hop back to Orinda BART.
We'll be rolling by parks so there isn't even a need to bring a water bottle if you want to lighten your load.
This is listed as a B-pace but we will regroup at strategic intersections if you're slower.
