Today is the Cinderella Classic, which is a women/girls-only century ride. For boys (and girls) who can't do the Cinderella, we again offer our Evil Stepsisters ride! This year's version offered by Jeff Pekrul is the 'kinder, gentler' version as it's only 36 miles instead of 67 and drops a lot of the vertical. Plus, you get to ride down the Seven Sisters on Mt. Tam rather than suffer up them!
Starting from Mike's Bikes in Sausalito, we'll head to Mill Valley and get started on our climbing. This ride takes us along the Panoramic Highway to PanToll, along Ridgecrest, down to Alpine Dam and then another climb to reach Fairfax, where we'll stop for lunch before returning to Sausalito.
Meet up at 8:45 AM with 9 AM rollout.
Bring a snack if you want to eat before lunch, which is about half-way through the ride but after all the climbing.
No sweep; this is not a no-rider-left-behind ride.
