Join us for a casual dinner at Gyro Xpress at Castro and 18th. All are welcome. Conversation, food, drink, and thoughts about future rides and events.

This is the official monthly club ride for all members (guests are always welcome). The ride offers different distance and level options where once a month all DSSF club members can get out, ride and socialize with the club. The ride starts from Peet‘s in the Castro. There are three options so you can go at your own pace and distance so please pick the appropriate option to your level of ability, we want to make sure you enjoy the day. The rides split and regroup in Tiburon where we have lunch together as a group. This ride is usually on the second Saturday of each month.

Join us for a ‘kinder, gentler‘ Tiburon loop! Starting and ending at Mike‘s Bikes at the south end of the Mill Valley-Sausalito Path instead of in SF cuts the mileage of the Jersey Ride in half to just 24 miles. This shortened route keeps the best part--Paradise Drive and Tiburon--and ditches the moshpit on the Golden Gate Bridge and the slog up Alexander, which is always into a headwind. Yes, you can eat dessert first!

Let’s go all the way! From our start in The Castro to Mt. Tam’s east peak and back we will accomplish 60 miles and 7,500 feet of climbing. This ride will deliver you the confidence to tackle almost any day long dirt ride you care to take on this summer. Lots of elevation, steep ascents, moderately technical descents, you’ll get them here, plus great views, a sense of accomplishment and thighs of iron. The ride starts in The Castro, heads over the Golden Gate Bridge and then heads over four ridges in the Marin Headlands before heading up Mt. Tam’s east peak before returning on mostly-different trails.

Meet up at 9:20 AM for a 9:45 AM ride out

It‘s a one-way ride from Berryessa BART to Fremont BART. Sierra Road is a classic South Bay climb that the club‘s rarely done because it‘s a long drive from the city. It connects to Calaveras up near the top of the Calaveras Wall, so the climbing‘s all front-loaded in this ride. Lunch or snacks in Sunol near the end of the ride.

This is the ride BEFORE the Pool Party. Meet at Orinda BART at 9:30 AM to sign in and drop your clothing and food off before the ride (if you‘re coming to the Pool Party.) Pinehurst Loop is the route.
