Get ready for the virtual Cinderella with this 41-mile lasso through the Napa Valley taking in isolated and picturesque Franz Valley. We start at the Clif Bar Winery in St. Helena, where you can park your car gratis, and head out the Silverado Trail to Calistoga, then taking Highway 128 west before turning onto Franz Valley and eventually Franz Valley School Road. We return the same way through Calistoga and the Silverado Trail. The route is full of moderate and small rollers but is mostly flattish.
Peet's Coffee in the Castro (16th and Market Streets)
This is the official monthly club ride for all members (guests are always welcome). The ride offers different distance and level options where once a month all DSSF club members can get out, ride and socialize with the club. The ride starts from Peet‘s in the Castro. There are three options so you can go at your own pace and distance so please pick the appropriate option to your level of ability, we want to make sure you enjoy the day. The rides split and regroup in Tiburon where we have lunch together as a group. This ride is usually on the second Saturday of each month.

Another excursion out into the country in preparation for the Cinderella Classic. This ride starts in Fairfield and takes in the beautiful Pleasants Valley Road through orchards and vineyards almost all the way to Winters. We’ll stop for a bite before heading south to Cantelow Road, a beautiful climb with a short 10% grunt at the top. Then it’s a glorious descent back to Pleasants Valley Road, taking in the reverse view back to Fairfield.
